Pst Mrs Olayinka Oluwafunmilayo Falade
Pastor Mrs Olayinka Falade, 68years, peacefully transitioned on Sunday, May 17, 2026, following a period of intimacy with God and shared moments with her loved ones.
Born on February 28, 1958, she was the last child to Late Pa and Mama Okusaga in Ijebu, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria (Parents), and was treasured and loved by all and sundry. She had her primary and secondary education in Ogun State and Lagos State, respectively. She furthered her education with various vocational trainings and academic certifications as she progressed in her career. She spent most of her professional career with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria as a civil servant until her retirement.
She grew up with her closest family on whom she poured and received immense love and support. She later got married her lovely husband, late (Pst) Olatunbosun Adesanya Falade and were blessed with three lovely children: Oluwadamilola, Olufunke and Oluwashina. During her lifetime she belonged to various Christian evangelical movements and participated in numerous outreaches and crusades. Until death, she led and impacted numerous lives through Divine Call Gospel International Ministries.
She was a devoted woman of faith whose life reflected love, compassion, humility, and unwavering commitment to the work of God. As a passionate clergy woman, she dedicated her years to serving both God and humanity, touching countless lives through her prayers, encouragement, generosity, and ministry. Her heart was open to everyone family, friends, neighbours, and even strangers and she consistently extended kindness to those near and far.
Beyond her calling in ministry, she was a joyful and fulfilled mother who raised her children with wisdom, discipline, and godly values. She found immense happiness in her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them and taking pride in the beautiful family God blessed her with. During her last days, she remained peaceful and steadfast in faith, surrounded by the love of her immediate family while spending precious personal moments in communion with God. Her life was a testimony of grace, service, and enduring faith in Christ.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, devotion, and godliness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We are comforted by the assurance that she has gone to rest in the eternal presence of the Lord whom she faithfully served.
Comforting Words…
“If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to God.” Romans 14:8
